Turbo Yeast - how to
make moonshine alcohol with a reflux still:

Alcotec
Gold
is the newest turbo yeast. It will replace the Alcotec 6 and it does
everything the old version did and a bit more. For pure fermentations,
this is the turbo to use (unless you aim at hyper-purity in which case Vodka
Star or Triple Still is your choice).
Just as the Alcotec 6, this one will ferment out 6 kgs
of sugar in a 25-litre moonshine wash in approximately 3 days. The new
bit is that they have used some exciting new techniques for the first time
to minimize the need for activated carbon filters (yes you still need
them but they will last longer and the result is better).
Note: In some countries activated carbon is only
allowed for water filtration (typically in household water filtration
systems) and absolutely not for purification of moonshine alcohol. |
